Happy Birthday Times 3!

The middle of July is a very busy week in our household.  3 out of the 5 of us all were born within days of each other.  Because of this, it was "BirthWEEK!"

To start the week off, Dean had HIS special day.  We could not do too much because that very week, Dean started a CCNA course to increase his skills with computer networking and would get home a little later then usual, so Edie and the boys decided to surprise him with an M&M cake and a candy bar card.  As Dean came home from his class he was greeted with both!

A few days later our sweet little Jordan turned the BIG 1!!  It really is amazing how fast this past year went.  He is doing so many fun things now and you can really see his personality coming out.  He is a very fun, happy, little guy!

We had a small party with some of our good friends to celebrate HIS day.  First was, of course, the eating of the cake.  

Then the playing and present opening began!

Bryce's special day ended off our celebratory week!  We decided that this year would be a good year to have an actual themed party to invite a lot of his friends to.  His interest in pirates and treasure made it an obvious choice to have a pirate party.

Independence Day Weekend

We had fun celebrating our country's freedom as we extended it over a period of a few days.   The celebrations started off by going to Bentonville's town square and looking at all the booths and fun things that they had set up.  

We found the Lowe's booth and had the boys try out their carpentry skills!

And that they were able to take everything they made and wore, home, made it even better!

We even got a few slides down on a big air slide!

The next evening we shot off some pre 4th fireworks and had fun with our friends across the street!

For the actual holiday, we went over to a friends house for their 2nd annual
4th of July block party!  

And a block party it was!
There was a bounce house, an air water slide, great food,
and of course the main attraction...FIREWORKS!

What a beautiful scene to end a great weekend!
