It's D-Day!! Happy Birthday Jordan Trey

On Tuesday July 20th, our third child/son was born. He came into this life at 10:19 am weighing in at a "heafty" 6 pounds 9.8 oz. (this was the biggest child we have had) :) We are so glad that he was born healthy and ready for life. Here are some of the highlights of the day.

After 4 hours of induced labor, and about 4 pushes

all in a row later, our sweet baby Jordan Trey was

in our arms at last!

Finally the day (actually night) had come to take

our Jordan home! Now the true fun and experience

will begin!

Showers of Blessings!

I was treated last week to a baby shower by a lot of my good friends. It was a very relaxing night with the girls, and I am so thankful to all who came. I feel very blessed to know and associate with so many wonderful women. They truly are great friends! For only being in the area just over a year, I have felt welcomed from the very start, and that really is a tremendous blessing, I could not have asked for anything better!

Your earthly family is waiting patiently,

To see who you are and what you will be.

Life will bring happiness, sorrow, joy, and pain,

But because of these, wisdom and growth is what you’ll gain.

Our Father in Heaven has set up this wonderful plan,

To help his spirit children learn all they can.

As you enter into this loving eternal family,

Your memory of the pre earth life will no longer be.

So as we all help each other, to keep our faith great and strong,

We will make it back in our Father's arms, and know,

He has guided us all along.

Activities for the 4th

We all had a wonderful fun weekend with friends and each other. We were (especially Dean) thrilled to have a great fireworks show in our own front yard over a multiple of days. Coming from states that have made a lot of the "neat" fireworks illegal, it was really fun to see and set off some of the "big" ones! Here are just a few of our fun highlights.

We hope everyone had a good fourth of July!

We feel very blessed to live in a country where

we have the freedoms we do.

Summer Begins!

Since summer began we have had a few fun activities that we have shared. Father's Day weekend was spent doing something Daddy wanted to do. Toy Story 3 had just come out, so he thought it would be fun to go and watch it. This was a unique experience because I don't think we have gone to the movie theater as a whole family for a long time, in fact we are almost certain that this was Bryce's first experience in one. We also saw it in 3D so this was an adventure in itself.

The boys also had great fun at a local splash park, with a few other families we know. Connor jumped in and started to play right away, but Bryce had to warm up to the idea, but eventually started seeing all the fun he was missing so he slowly made his way and eventually got wet. It was fun to see them have this much fun, and so, we will probably be back before the summer ends.
