Spring has sprung! We are thrilled that this season
is upon us. Since we are witnessing this season for
the first time in our new area,
It has been fun to see what blossoms come
out on all of the trees, and especially our own. Indeed
we can see that beauty is everywhere.
The nice warm temperatures have brought us all
out of captivity, so we can participate in fun
activities and projects.
Connor has started up soccer again for the season.
He has had fun playing again, and seems to
have improved a little since the fall.
The cheerleaders have fun as well
We also had fun coloring eggs, and hunting,
during Easter weekend.
Going to the park is a good way to take in the
fresh spring air. And it is a fun way to be a kid!
We then started our BIG project of taking care of
our landscaped area in our front yard. As you can see
it has needed tlc for a long time
With the old weed blocker torn all over weeds have
been growing, and the old sod not looking very
kept up and nice, we wanted to give some tlc and bring
color and life back to our lovely front.
We invested in new weed block and in a red
rubber mulch (recycled from used tires) which
says will never lose its color. We started ripping
out the old, and putting down the new.
This was a big project resulting in bagging up
15 yard waste bags!
But,the results were and are worth it!
Now comes the fun part, what plants can be
planted that will complete the project?
