House Buying 101

* The Arkansas Home Buying 101 Course Midterm Review

The last week and a half has been a blur of activity and assignments as we have started along this course. Some of the projects were not as hard as others, like practicing our penmanship as we signed the offer contract. While some have involved a whole lot more thinking and brain work, like practicing our math skills as we crunch the numbers.
This month long course (which is about half way over) has already had it share of Yippies, Horrays and celebrations, as when our first test (The Offer) came back with accepted stamped on it. Just as equally however, there has been lack of paitice, mental exhaustion and doubt, like when our second test (The First Loan) came back with failing marks. Through all of this process though, we have done our part in trying to succeed, by studying, praying, and relying on faith to get us through.
Even though this course has been a hard one at times, we feel really fortunate to be enrolled in it right now. We are excited and anticipating the final exam on March 19th. Stay tuned until then, to see our final grade.

Our Eternal Family

This past weekend we got to reflect and remember the great man our grandpa was. He was a hard worker and taught his family the importance of working. He also taught us great things about the gospel of Jesus Christ and about our great family heritage. We will miss how he loved to tell his stories, adding some embellishments to make it just a little bit more exiting. We thank you grandpa for your enthusiasm for life, and your love towards your family!





As we all got together as family to remember Grandpa Evans, my thoughts went towards the strength of a family. As individuals we all our different, each having specific trials in our lives, we are all unique. Heavenly Father put us in families for a reason. This specific plan enables us to help each other proceed to our eternal goal. We can and should support each other through this life. We must be able to lean on each other in times of need and be able to feel of everyone's love for each other. I am very grateful for my family and the love and support they give me and everyone else. I am truly thankful for my grandparents decision of marrying in the temple 58 years ago. Because of their temple sealing, we are an eternal family!
