We decided to travel to Branson, MO (a few hours NE of us), to take a break and relax the last day of Connor's spring break. It is a very family oriented city with quite a few things to do, with museums, amusement parks and shows galore. The attractions do cost a bit, so we picked one particular place that we thought the boys would enjoy.
THE BUTTERFLY PALACE
High above, overlooking the city beneath
stands a palace, but not the kind you would think.
A prince there is, king, queen, and princesses too,
But no human resides like me or you.
The Duke and Dutchess in their rooms inside
Will share great tales of how they survive
You'll twist and turn through branches and leaves
deep inside the "maze" of trees
And what you find in the highest room
is an amazing array of beautiful bloom!
The flowers, plants, and waterfalls are there
To grab your attention to what's in the air
And there fluttering, with the greatest of ease,
The kingdom's majestic royalty!
The Butterfly Prince and Princess?
Not in this palace.
One very determined butterfly seeker

Happiness. . . .
