Jordan is turning out to be a very playful and spirited little guy.
He has done many new and fun things, all of which are so cute to watch.
He has now started clapping! He also loves to watch his older brothers
play and interact. It is not hard to notice that he yearns to play and do what they do!
He is now on the go, and moving anywhere he can. He is very fast and before we know it, will be in another area of the home! He has also just started taking interest in wheeled toys, and finds it delightful to push and move them around. Yep, just like his brothers!

Bryce had the opportunity a few weeks ago to give his first talk in primary(the children's class in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). The topic was about the Book of Mormon being another testament of Jesus Christ. Edie helped him as he stood up in front of everyone. He did very well, and did not seem nervous standing in front of all the primary children. Here are the words of his talk.
"The Book of Mormon talks about many things. We read of great prophets who gave their lives for the truth and who testified of great things to come. We read about people who traveled many oceans to get to the promised, blessed land. We learn that Christ's church was established in this land, and that He came to visit those that were righteous. He prayed for and blessed those that were there.
'2 Nephi 25:26
And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know what source they may look for a remission of their sins.'

Bryce also decided that he would like to start riding his bike with Connor and his friends in the neighborhood. We have tried multiple times to help him learn how to peddle, but there was really no interest in that area, up until now. One day while we were out, Bryce got on the bike and low and behold started peddling! We have learned over time that Bryce will do what he wants to do in his own time and under his control.
Another thing that is under his control is his eating. For the last 2 months he has gone to see a speech and occupational therapist to help him with sensory issues and food adversions(he does not eat meat or vegetables). The speech therapist does different exercises and fun games with him and food items so he will get accustomed to different foods in a "fun" environment. Just in the last few weeks,Bryce has done something he has never done before in the area of food. At home one night he picked up a very tiny piece of broccoli and tasted it, and said "I ate broccoli" No one saw this happen, but we were still very impressed and as we were saying yeah, he picked another piece up and tasted it again. We were shocked and very excited! Just a few days ago he was with Ms. Taylor (speech therapist) and he picked up a small raw carrot and took a bite! We know that this will still be a VERY long road, but he is making very tiny steps at overcoming this big stepping stone in his life!

Connor has been having exciting things going on as well! This past year for soccer, he was on the Orange Thunder team, and had a lot of fun learning more about how soccer is played. He finished up well and yearns to play again next season!
Connor also finished the 2nd grade with smiles all around. He did great work and had a lot of exciting moments with Mrs. Smith and the rest of the class! He was once again on the A Honor roll, and he also discovered a passion for reading and read all that he could during class time.
