Let The Victory Bell Ring!

The day finally arrived when the Victory Bell could be heard loud and clear! This was the day that Dean has been envisioning for so long. He has come a long way, and has fought a good fight to end up where he is now. The journey to graduation was not as straight as some. The road that he traveled was full of twists and turns, sometimes not knowing really where he was headed. But after 15 years that includes, serving an LDS mission, getting married, moving many times, having two children and working several jobs, the time has come for Dean to become an official member of the BYU alumni. We love you Dean and are so proud of your accomplishment! Your determination and will to get through, have paid off, Way to Go!

Farewell Fun

Connor had invited some of his friends over for a farewell party. He has been really excited to do this, so we planned it out, gave invitations, and had the party. It was fun to have them all over for one last time before we move. I know Connor will miss his friends that he has made here, but I know he will meet new ones in our new area.

Easter Activities

We all enjoyed a great Easter weekend! It was filled with visiting family members from both sides of our families. On Saturday, we got together with Dean's family where the children decorated eggs, and had an Easter egg hunt, with them even hiding their own eggs.





On Sunday after church, all of us enjoyed looking for our Easter baskets and eggs outside.

Sunday evening, we were then treated to a delicious Easter feast that was hosted by Edie's aunt and uncle, John and Taffy. We had a good time eating, talking, and egg hunting!






We are truly blessed to have come from great families, who we shared this Easter weekend with. We are even more blessed to know, that because of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we can have eternal life, and can live with Him and our Heavenly Father again.

Sister Bonding at General Conference

Since my time living in Utah, there have been quite a few times I have had the opportunity to go to LDS General Conference in the Conference Center in Salt Lake. During some of those instances, I have been able to attend with my younger sister Julie. This past Sunday, she invited me to join her again, one last time before we move. It has been a pleasure being with her, as we hear and see the leaders of our church speak to us. I am truly grateful for these opportunities we have had these past few years. I have enjoyed our sisterly bonding moments as we both get spiritually uplifted.
