Balloons, Buddies, and Bunk Beds!

How much fun can a two year old have with a bouquet of balloons?

An endless amount!

After playing, a "cat" nap with your buddy is a

MUST!!!

And because the couch is not the best place to sleep, how about a real bed!

Since the new baby will be taking the crib this summer, it was time for Bryce to move

into a big boys bed, and we thought to save space it would be nice to get a bunk bed for our two older boys. Over the weekend we made the big leap and decided to invest in one.

workers in the home!

We really like the idea of the stairs with the dresser

instead of a ladder(a little bit more feeling of

safety), but the boys, more the two year old,

think it is a fun fort to play on. I guess when you

have boys, a new item, and their creativity,

anything will become something fun and exciting!

And the drumroll please to whether or not it will

work and be a good fit. . .

Fun With Grandma and Grandpa

We had the pleasure of hosting Grandma and Grandpa for the first time in our new home. It was quite fun showing them our area and getting them used to the country relaxed atmosphere. They were quite impressed with what they saw, so we are excited for the many more times that they will come to visit us.

Grandpa only stayed with us for a day since he had to go back to work (he started off his trip by running a trail marathon in Tulsa, and then traveled to our area that day). We met them about 30 min out of our city so we could drive the rest of the way home with them. The grand tour began by showing them our house, the area around, and then off to eat dinner. It was fun to talk with them, and the boys had fun being with them.

Sunday was spent going to church and getting our grandpa fills since he had to drive back to Tulsa to catch his flight.

The rest of the week through Thursday was spent with Grandma doing all sorts of things. We all had so much fun with her! We are very thankful to her since she took a lot of pictures (Don't you love the digital age) Here are just a "few" of the ones that were taken.

These are just a few of the things that we did while grandma was in town. We all had so much fun and we are so thankful to her and grandpa for taking the time to come over our way. Thank you for the memories and we hope to make a lot more in the future. You are welcome anytime!
